Withrow, Senick Capture Second-Place Finishes at Brown Springtime Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Sophomore Dan Withrow finished second in the discus throw and classmate Joel Senick was the runner-up in the 200-meter dash to lead the Boston University men's outdoor track and field team at the Brown Springtime Invitational on Sunday at Brown Stadium. A trio of Terriers posted third-place finishes in their events as well.
Withrow posted a mark of 47.91m to take second in the discus, while Senick ran a 22.17 in the 200m dash to finish second in that event.
Senior Jason Nardella finished third in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.53 and junior Mark Mazzochette was third in the 400m hurdles, posting a 55.79.
Senior Chadd Steinhauser was third in the 400m dash, clocking a time of 49.05.
The Terriers are back in action on Saturday and Sunday at the America East Championships in Vestal, N.Y.
