Junior Jessica Luscinski has been named this week's GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week after recording three goals and one assist in two America East tournament games.
Luscinski scored two game-winners during the America East Women's Soccer Championships. Most notably, she broke an 80-minute scoreless drought in the semifinals against Albany on Oct. 31, when she bent a free kick into the upper right side from 25 yards out. Less than a week later, she scored twice in the title bout with Maine to lift BU to its fourth straight championship and sixth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance. Her two goals helped the Terriers break a program record for goals in a season - a record which had stood since the program's inception in 1995.
Luscinski and the 17th-ranked Terriers will learn their NCAA first-round opponent tonight when ESPNU announces the field at approximately 4:30 p.m.
