BOSTON - After being named to the NSCAA All-America Fourth Team and leading the Boston University women's soccer team in points, graduate student Lisa Kevorkian has been named the team's most valuable player.
Kevorkian helped lead the Terriers to their fourth straight America East title and sixth consecutive NCAA appearance in 2010. In just her first season with the Terriers, she earned NSCAA All-America Fourth Team honors, AE All-Conference First Team accolades and NEWISA All-New England Second Team distinction.
The Arcadia, Calif., native, who graduated in May with a degree in communications, made a lasting impression on the program, netting 14 goals and seven assists for 35 points to rank third in the BU annals for single-season goals and points. In just one season with BU, her 35 career points place her 16th among the program's all-time scorers.
