CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - After leading the Boston University men's soccer team in goals and assists, respectively, junior Dominique Badji and senior Anthony Ciccone earned their second career All-Conference awards, the Patriot League announced Monday afternoon.
Placed on the second team after receiving the same honor from the America East in 2011, Badji posted a personal-best six goals for a team-high 12 points. Highlighted by game-winning goals against Loyola Maryland and Colgate, he also scored against Hofstra, Brown and American.
Ciccone finished second in the Patriot League rankings with seven assists. He was placed on the second team after helping Badji on two of the goals. Hurting opponents with his speed and crosses into the box, he tallied two assists in the 3-0 win over current MAAC No. 1 Monmouth and set up the game winner against defending CAA champion Northeastern. He was also a second team All-Conference honoree his junior year and will graduate from BU with 23 career points off two goals and 19 assists.
