Terriers Earn No. 2 Seed In PL Tournament

The Boston University women's soccer team will head to Hamilton, N.Y. as the No. 2 seed for the Patriot League Tournament, which will be hosted by regular season champion Colgate. The Terriers will play in the semifinal round on Friday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. against the highest seed that wins a quarterfinal match.

After defeating Bucknell earlier today to earn a bye in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League tournament, the Terriers awaited the outcome of the Colgate vs. American game, which would determine whether or not they would host the tournament.

After a scoreless 73 minutes, the Raiders netted the game-winner to clinch the top spot in the conference and earn the honor of hosting the tournament.

The Terriers tied Navy in points but take the upper-hand in the seeding as BU defeated the Midshipmen at the start of the conference schedule.
