KANSAS CITY, Mo.--Two Terriers earned All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced on Wednesday. Seniors Kai Miller and Jamie Turchi each earned the designation, with Miller receiving first-team honors and Turchi getting a spot on the third team.
Miller finished the season with two goals to earn the most points in a season of her career. She was athe leader of a back line that allowed just 16 goals all season and a stingy five goals in conference play. Her season culminated in a Patriot League championship - the third conference title of her tenure at Boston University - where she was named the tournament MVP. The win earned Miller and Turchi their third trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Turchi was a force in the midfield this year for BU, totaling 10 points off of three goals and four assists, the most she has tallied in a single season in her career in all categories. She notched the game-winner on two occasions and joined Miller as two of four captains this season.
