1. What is your favorite softball memory?
My favorite softball memory was playing outfield for the first time at Providence and making a diving catch to end the game.
2. What is your earliest softball memory?
My earliest softball memory was playing catch with my dad in our front yard. He would give my brother and me 15 pop-flys and we would compete to see who could catch the most.
3. When did you know Boston University was the right school for you?
I felt that Boston University was the right school for me when I came on my unofficial visit. Before I left campus, I just knew that the school and softball program was a good fit for me. After I committed, my parents and I went to the bookstore and I’m pretty sure I spent my life savings on new BU gear.
4. What was it like to put on a BU uniform for the first time during the fall?
I was so nervous for my first game! I was also so excited to wear Boston across my jersey for the first time.
5. Who is your role model and why?
My parents are my role models. They are always so loving and supportive!
6. What sport would you be playing if you weren’t playing softball and why?
I would play tennis or competitive arm wrestling because you only need one other person to play!
7. What are your best attributes you feel you bring to the team?
I think that I bring a sense of composure when on the field. I’ve always played with a very laid back and calm demeanor, and I think that helps me not let the game get out of control.
8. Which athlete’s career would you most like to have and why?
Mariano Rivera. Not only is he one of the best pitchers of all time, he is known to be a class act.
9. What is your dream job?
My dream job would be some type of counselor. I would love to be a high school guidance counselor.
10. What has been your favorite BU memory so far?
My favorite BU memory was going to game 2 of the World Series! My other favorite BU memory was playing in a charity kickball tournament on Nickerson this past fall.
11. What is your favorite book and why?
"Redeeming Love" by Francene Rivers. It is the first book that I’ve read and enjoyed.
12. What pregame music do you listen to?
Anything country!
