Terriers Compete at Yellow Jacket Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Boston University men's track & field team competed at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on Saturday at American International.
BU finished 15th as a team with 22 points. Junior Ethan Knight led the Terriers with a victory in the shot put. He had a season-best toss of 15.52 meters to comfortably claim first place.
Senior Manuel Pastrana secured second in the javelin with a throw of 61.51 meters. Freshman Tyler Malone had a personal-best mark of 13.37 meters in the triple jump to finish fifth. He also had a mark of 6.32 meters in the long jump. Freshman Bruce Greene competed in both the 100m dash (11.42) and 200m dash (23.10) while sophomore Young Guang had a mark of 10.86 meters in the shot put.
The Terriers will be back in action next weekend at both the George Mason Invitational and the George Davis Invitatonal.
