
Terriers Compete at IC4A Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Boston University men's track & field team competed at the IC4A Championships this past weekend, hosted by Princeton at William Weaver Track & Field Stadium.
Sophomore Reuben Horace had a career-best mark of 60.61 meters to finish fourth in the hammer throw. Junior Michael Maloof (55.41m) also competed in that event, while classmate Nikolaos Farmakidis tied for 10th in the pole vault (4.80m).
Junior Stephen Vitale qualified for the final of the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.94 seconds, but was unable to compete in Sunday's race. Sophomore Alec Olson finished fifth in the 3,000m steeplechase with a personal-best time of 8:54.70. Classmate Kevin Thomas won his heat and was seventh overall in the 5,000m run with a personal-best time of 14:24.96.
Freshman Justin Flynn advanced to the semifinals of the 100m dash with a time of 10.72 seconds in the prelims while sophomore David Lagerberg competed in the 400m dash (48.49) and the 200m dash (21.52). Freshman Ethan Homan competed in the 800m run (1:51.75) and classmate Cameron Williams ran the 200m dash (22.16).
Next up for the Terriers will be the NCAA East Preliminaries on May 29-31 at the University of North Florida.
