October 19, 2015 | Women's Soccer
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Currently on a nine-game unbeaten streak, senior net minder Alyssa Parisi was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Parisi has not allowed a goal in the last three contests including the 3-0 shutout win against Lehigh on her Senior Day last Saturday. The Camarillo, Calif. native stopped all four shots that she faced to keep the team undefeated in conference play.
The senior's nine-game unbeaten streak (7-0-2) dates back to Sept. 11 at Central Connecticut and includes a perfect 5-0-0 showing on Nickerson Field this season. The shutout kept her on top of the conference in goals against average with an overall 0.85 GAA and an extremely impressive 0.35 GAA in conference play.
The Terriers are back in action on Wednesday night when they finish off their regular season home slate against Holy Cross at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the American Sports Network and Patriot League Network.
