Hollenbaugh Named to ECAC All-Star Team

DANBURY, Conn. - McKenzie Hollenbaugh of the Boston University women’s soccer team added to her accolades as she earned a spot on the Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Star team, the ECAC announced on Thursday afternoon. She is one of 11 players to earn a spot on the ECAC All-Star First Team.
Hollenbaugh, the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, also earned a spot on the NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team following an incredible performance throughout conference play to help the Terriers clinch their 10th NCAA berth in 11 years.
The Glastonbury, Conn. native was part of a defense that allowed just two goals and 29 total shots on net throughout BU’s nine-game conference schedule. Hollenbaugh’s incredible play during the NCAA First Round at St. John’s helped the Terriers collect the program’s fifth NCAA win.
