Viteri Named ECAC All-Star

DANBURY, Conn. - Boston University men's soccer sophomore Anthony Viteri has been named an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Star, the organization announced Thursday morning following a vote of the ECAC's Division I member institutions.
Placed on the second team, Viteri was previously recognized as an NSCAA All-Region and Patriot League All-Conference First Team honoree. The midfielder tallied six goals and two goals for 14 points to help the Terriers make their first NCAA appearance since 2008.
After finding the back of the net for the first time with BU against Boston College, he scored both goals in the 2-1 win at UMass. The Flushing, N.Y., native struck twice against Harvard and later earned the game winner in overtime at Colgate.
