Women's soccer senior goalkeeper Alyssa Parisi, who secured her sixth career shutout in the 0-0 tie against La Salle last week, was chosen as the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
Clocking 155 minutes so far, Parisi has proven to be a solid backbone to the Terrier's defense making a total of six saves on the week and only allowing one goal in the first two matches of the season against La Salle and Boston College. Parisi started in all 18 games last season, totaling 39 saves and a 0.66 goals against average.
A native of Camarillo, Calif., Parisi is a fifth-year graduate student enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and was named to the 2015 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
