Terriers Conclude Fall Schedule at Harvard Invitational

ALLSTON, Mass. – Highlighted by a pair of singles wins over both No. 27 Syracuse and Pittsburgh, the Boston University women's tennis team concluded the fall portion of the 2016-17 schedule at the three-day Harvard Invitational over the weekend. Besides facing the Orange and Panthers, the Terriers also spent a day competing against the host Crimson.

Junior Iryna Kostirko started off with a straight-set singles win against Pitt and then held off a late charge to edge Syracuse's Maria Tritou: 6-3, 3-6, 6-4. Sophomore Remi Ramos also had a strong performance in singles action, dropping six games to the Panthers and then just five to Syracuse's Dina Hegab.

The Terriers will next open the dual season at Dartmouth on Jan. 21, 2017.
