
Terriers Conclude Season at IC4As/ECACs

The Boston University men’s and women’s track & field teams concluded their indoor season by competing at the IC4A/ECAC Championships Friday through Sunday at the TTC.
On the men’s side, senior Paul Gennaro had an excellent showing, concluding his indoor career with a personal-best time of 14:29.23 in the 5000 meters to finish in 3rd place overall.
Three Terriers, junior Justin Flynn, sophomore Jordan Love and sophomore Cameron Nurse, competed in the 200 meter dash prelims on Saturday with the top 12 times qualifying for Sunday’s finals. Flynn finished 17th in a large field 40, with a time of 21.88. Nurse took 25th (22.06) while Love finished 35th (22.35).
Patriot League Rookie of the Year Robie Webster competed in the 400 meter dash prelims on Saturday and finished 16th with a time of 48.72 and did not advance to Sunday’s finals.
On the women’s side, the 4x400 meter relay team of senior Christy Wood, junior Toria Levy, senior Jade Paul and junior Djenne Parris, qualified for the finals with an excellent time of 3:41.22, the fastest time in prelims. The foursome did not compete in the finals on Sunday.
Also in Saturday’s prelims, senior Christy Wood qualified for finals with a time of 24.43 but did not compete in the finals on Sunday.
After this weekend's competition, junior Cameron Williams will compete at the NCAA National Championships in the 200 meter dash on March 11-12 in Birmingham, Ala. The Terriers will then open their outdoor season on March 18 at the Hurricane Invitational in Miami, Fla.
