
Terriers Compete at Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas - The Boston University men's track & field team had a strong contingent compete at the Texas Relays this past weekend.
On Friday, junior David Oluwadara nearly broke a 31-year school record in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 16.01 meters (52' 6.5") to finish fifth. Duane Carlisle's mark of 52 feet, 10 inches was set in 1985.
Junior Cameron Williams raced in the 200m dash invitational on Saturday, finishing third with a time of 21.39 seconds.
Senior Nikolaos Farmakidis tied for eighth in the pole vault on Thursday with a mark of 5.06 meters (16' 7.25"). Classmate Ethan Knight also took eighth thanks to a 15.84-meter (51' 11.75") throw in Friday's shot put competition. Senior Reuben finished in the top 20 of the hammer throw with a toss of 54.04 meters (177' 3").
The Terriers will next compete at the Tiger Track Classic hosted by Auburn on April 8-9.
