
Terriers Set New Record at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – The Boston University men’s track & field team competed at the Penn Relays this weekend at Franklin Field.
A new school record in the 4x200m relay capped off a terrific weekend at the prestigious event. Running in the Championship of America Invitational, sophomore Jordan Love, junior Cameron Williams, senior David Lagerberg and junior Alastair Prenn broke the previous record of 1:25.02 with a time of 1:24.83.
Love, Lagerberg and Williams joined sophomore Cameron Nurse in the 4x100m relay as well, finishing second in the IC4A Final on Saturday with a time of 40.72 seconds, edged by just two hundredths of a second for first place. Also on Saturday, junior David Oluwadara finished seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 15.38 meters (50’ 5.5”).
BU will be back in action next weekend at the Patriot League Championships, hosted by Bucknell on May 6 and 7.
