
Terriers Compete at IC4A Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Boston University men's track & field team competed at the IC4A Championships this past weekend at Princeton University.
BU finished with 18 points to place 18th in the 47-team field. The Terriers combined for three top-five performances over the weekend.
Junior David Oluwadara took second in the triple jump with a mark of 15.48 meters (59’ 9.5”). Senior Tyler Malone also competed in that event, finishing with a mark of 13.79 meters (45’ 3”).
Freshman Alexander Seal secured third in the 800m run thanks to a time of 1:51.83. He had run a time of 1:51.67 in the prelims, which is a personal best.
Junior Matti Groll finished fifth in the final of the 1,500m run with a time of 3:51.38. Classmate Ethan Homan also ran that race, crossing the finish line in 4:00.53. Both runners won their qualifying heats on Saturday, with Groll finish second among all competitors thanks to a time of 3:48.30. Homan was fourth on Saturday with a time of 3:49.51.
The Terriers will now wait to see how many of their athletes qualified for the NCAA East Prelims, which begin on May 26 in Jacksonville, Florida.
