Lewisburg, Pa. - Highlighted by another record-setting performance by junior Cameron Williams, the Boston University men's track & field team finished third at 2016 Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championship which concluded Saturday at Bucknell's Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.

Williams set a new school and Patriot League championship record in the 200m dash with a time of 20.56 seconds. Williams beat the previous PL championship record of 20.83 seconds and also bested the BU school mark of 20.8 seconds that was achieved twice in both 1965 and 1982. Williams' time stands as the 13th fastest 200m run in the nation. Williams also won the 100m dash with a time of 10.63 seconds and was named Patriot League Male Track Athlete of the Meet.

Williams' performance helped the Terriers earn 143 points and a third place finish behind Patriot League Champion Navy (263 points) and runner-up Army (160).

Other top performers included junior David Oluwadara who defended his triple jump title with a mark of 15.33 meters (50' 3.5") to easily claim first. Senior Tyler Malone was fourth with a mark of 14.57 meters (47' 9.75").

Standout freshman Alexander Seal won the 1,500m run with a time of 3:45.63 and was named Male Rookie of the Meet. Seal was followed in the 1,500 meters by junior Matti Groll who finished fourth(3:46.76).

Another top performance came from the 4x100m relay team of Williams, senior David Lagerberg, sophomore Jordan Love and sophomore Cameron Nurse who broke a meet record and nearly bested the school record, finishing second to Army West Point with a time of 40.25 seconds.

Junior Ethan Homan won the 800m run in 1:49.41 while Seal finished in 12th place (1:53.87).

Lagerberg also won the 400m dash with a time of 47.00 seconds. Junior Alastair Prenn posted a time of 49.68 seconds in that event to finish 15th.

Senior Alec Olson finished second in the steeplechase with a time of 9:08.21 while

Freshman Robie Webster set a new personal best with a time of 14.69 seconds in the 110m hurdles to finish fourth.

Other top five performances included senior David Lagerberg who finished third in the 200m with a time of 21.42 while sophomore Jordan Love finished fourth with a time of 21.45. Competing in the 100m dash, Love finished fifth in 10.82 seconds.

Senior Ethan Knight posted two top-10 finishes, securing fourth in the shot put (15.99m 52' 5") and sixth in the discus (47.29m 155' 2").

Sophomore Jason Biesma finished third in the decathlon with a score of 6009. Senior Matt Belikov was seventh with a total of 4667. In the 400m hurdles, sophomore Conrad Rousseau posted a time of 57.50 seconds.

Following the Patriot League Championships, BU will compete in the IC4A/New England Championships on May 13-15
