BOSTON – Currently in a four-way tie for second in the Patriot League standings, the Boston University men's basketball team will host Army West Point on Wednesday with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU is 5-3 in conference play, two games behind Bucknell and tied with Holy Cross, Lehigh and Navy.
The Terriers are 8-2 at home with conference wins over defending Patriot League champion Holy Cross, runner-up Lehigh and American with a loss against Colgate.
BU has lost the last three games but was within four points in the final minute of all three contests.
Senior Eric Fanning posted two of his three team-leading double-doubles last week and currently leads BU in scoring at 13.7 ppg ... Both he and senior Justin Alston (6.2 rpg) are tied for the team lead in rebounding with junior Nick Havener (5.9 ppg) close behind at 5.8 rpg.
Junior Cedric Hankerson (11.1 ppg) leads the PL in made 3-pointers per game at 2.7, while sophomore Kyle Foreman (6.1 ppg) ranks third in assists at 5.0 apg ... Foreman does lead the PL in steals in conference-only games at 2.9 spg.
Despite Bucknell shooting 52 percent on Saturday, BU remains the league leader in defensive field goal percentage at 42.0 FG% ... Army is second at 43.4 FG%.

SCOUTING ARMY

The Black Knights are 2-6 on the road compared to their 6-6 home mark with a 53-49 win at American and 88-83 victory at Columbia.
Looking to snap a two-game losing streak following home losses to Holy Cross (85-76) and Navy (96-80 OT), they are 2-6 in conference play with a 66-57 home win over Loyola and road win against the Eagles.
Army is second in the PL in scoring at 75.0 ppg and is shooting 44.0 percent as a team ... Jordan Fox (12.2 ppg) and Matt Wilson (10.9 ppg) are the two Black Knights averaging double figures.
The Black Knights are averaging 9.6 3-pointers on 35.6 percent shooting ... They are holding opponents to 31.3 percent and 6.5 treys per game.
Mac Hoffman is averaging a team-high 7.0 rebounds per game, and the Black Knights own a positive 1.9 rebounding margin.

SERIES HISTORY

BU leads Army, 14-8, in a series that dates back to 1954-55 ... The Terriers are 5-2 against the Black Knights since joining the Patriot League with a 3-0 sweep in 2014 and back-to-back splits.
In the last contest in Case Gym, Army outscored BU, 20-10, over the final eight minutes for an 80-71 win ... The Black Knights shot 44.1 percent and held the Terriers to 34.8 percent ... Fanning led all players with 20 points.
In last year's meeting at West Point, Army jumped out to an early 15-6 lead but was tied at the half, 33-33 ... With the score tied, 46-46, at 13:26, BU reeled off five straight points and held on for the 76-67 win ... Terriers had a 45-33 advantage in rebounding and shot 46 percent from the field while holding the Black Knights to 33 percent.
