BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Taking the pool for its season opener, the Boston University women's swimming and diving team fell at Lehigh, 174.5-125.5, Saturday afternoon at Jacobs Pool.

The Terriers recorded five first-place finishes, as Carly Soares led the team with two first-place finishes and collected 25 points on the afternoon, while Grace Anderson, Nikki Bookwalter and Julimar Avila also topped the podium. Lizzie Tillo led the divers with second-place finishes in both the one-meter and three-meter dives.

BU will return to action next Saturday as it hosts Bucknell at Competition Pool on Oct. 14 for its home opener.
