BU Concludes Fall Schedule at Bryant Invitational

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Boston University men's tennis team wrapped up the fall schedule over the weekend at the Bryant Invitational.
Freshmen Owen Lu and Pete Siozios led the Terriers with a pair of singles wins. Lu started with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Isasias Ortiz-Garcia and then rallied for a 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 victory against Artur Jakubowski.
Sizios required three sets in both of his wins against Bryant's Philip Belmatch (6-3, 3-6, 10-7) and Scott Plutt (3-6, 6-4, 6-1).
In doubles action, sophomores Marc Sable and J.P. Avila claimed a 7-6 win against Bryant, while Lu and freshman Ethan Kolsky earned a 6-2 win.
The Terriers will next open the dual season with a doubleheader at home on Sunday, Jan. 28. They will first host Southern New Hampshire at 10 a.m. and then Siena at 3 p.m.
