
Four Terriers Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Coming off a Patriot League semifinal appearance, four members of the Boston University men's tennis team earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Thursday afternoon.
Recent graduate Mario Sandoval (Dallas, Texas) led the way with a 3.90 GPA as a human physiology major, while classmate Jake De Vries (Irvine, Calif.) claimed a 3.50 GPA in journalism.
The Terriers also had both freshmen earn a spot on the honor roll. J.P. Avila (Holland, Mich.) is majoring in business administration and management and finished the semester with a 3.78 GPA. Marc Sable (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) was just behind at 3.59 in the same program.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
