November 14, 2018 | Women's Basketball
BOSTON - First-year head coach Marisa Moseley has announced that four new Terriers will be joining the Boston University women's basketball program for the 2019-20 season. Maren Durant, Annabelle Larnard, Maggie Pina and Liz Shean will make up the class of 2023.
"I am beyond excited about my first signing class at BU," stated Moseley. "In our short time here, my staff and I have been able to assemble a talented group of players, and more importantly people, who will make an immediate impact on our program. They are all high-energy players, who love to compete and have incredible drives to be successful. I am excited for them to join our Terrier family."
The quartet is comprised of three guards and one forward representing three different states, including two Massachusetts natives.

Moseley on Larnard: "Annabelle Larnard is an explosive, versatile scorer. With great length at the guard spot, she can post you up inside or step out to the 3-point line and stretch the defense. Annabelle is a consummate competitor and I am confident she has a great future ahead of her as a Terrier."

Moseley on Durant: "Maren Durant will easily become a fan favorite. The work ethic, communication and energy she brings on the floor is contagious. Her ability to score with her back to the basket, run the floor hard in transition, as well see the floor will no doubt be an asset to our core group of post players."

Moseley on Pina: "Maggie Pina is a lights-out shooter whose mind for the game is admirable. She is a proven winner and fierce competitor. With her high basketball IQ and hard-nosed play, Maggie will immediately add depth to our guard spot. I can't wait to have her don the scarlet and white."

Liz Shean
G | 5-8 | Arlington, Va. | Yorktown
Two-time first team all-conference and Yorktown Offensive Player of the Year … Second-team all-region as a junior … All-region honorable mention as a sophomore … Will enter her second season as a team captain for the 2018-19 season.
