BOSTON – Coming off a dominating 82-53 win at New Hampshire, the Boston University men's basketball team will wrap up the six-game road trip at Elon on Saturday with tip-off slated for 2 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU is facing its third opponent from the Colonial Athletic Association this season following 77-74 win at preseason favorite Northeastern and 86-67 loss at Drexel.
The Terriers are visiting North Carolina for the first time since dropping a hard-fought 77-73 decision at NC State in 2016 ... Their last win occurred at UNC Charlotte in 1997.
Freshman Jack Hemphill (Raleigh, N.C.) was an All-State honoree this past year at Ravenscroft H.S. and was the No. 11 ranked player in the state according to ESPN.com.
Hemphill is currently fourth on the team in scoring at 7.0 ppg and is one of six averaging at least three rebounds per game ... Junior Max Mahoney leads BU in scoring at 13.4 ppg, while classmate Tyler Scanlon (12.9 ppg) owns a team-high 5.3 rpg.
Sophomore Javante McCoy is also averaging double-figures in points (11.8 ppg) and leads the team in 3-point shooting (.472).
BU is shooting an impressive 47.5 percent from the field while averaging 71.1 ppg and is holding opponents to 40.8 FG% and 67.9 ppg.
In the last two games, the Terriers held Rutgers and New Hampshire to a combined 32-of-104 (.308), the team's best back-to-back defensive performance since holding Vermont and Binghamton to a combined 36-of-123 (.293) in January 2013.

SCOUTING ELON

The Phoenix are 2-1 at home this season with a 98-71 win over Milligan College and 92-59 victory against Central Penn with a 116-67 loss to then-No. 11 North Carolina ... Elon's other win occurred at Manhattan (62-56) in the season opener for both teams.
6-foot-9 forward Tyler Seibring is averaging a team-high 14.7 ppg with 4.6 rpg, while 6-foot-4 guard Steven Santa Ana (13.4 ppg) owns a team-high 6.7 rpg.
6-foot-5 guard Sheldon Eberhardt (8.4 ppg) directs the offense with 4.3 apg.
Elon is averaging 10.4 made 3-pointers per game, two more than opponents, but is also averaging 4.7 more turnovers a contest.
The Phoenix are averaging 70.9 ppg and 43.0 FG% while holding opponents to 73.7 ppg and 42.8 FG%.

SERIES HISTORY

The Terriers are visiting Elon for the first time in program history following last year's 77-69 loss at Case Gym.
The score was tied, 63-63, before the Phoenix scored 10 straight to pull away.
Elon finished with a 15-11 advantage in made 3-pointers to claim the win.
