Women's Soccer Adds Eleven to 2019 Roster
 
BOSTON – The Boston University women's soccer team will welcome 11 new Terriers to the fold for the 2019 season, as announced by head coach Nancy Feldman Friday.

Gretchen Bennett, Ashley Buck, Caitlyn DiSarcina, Madie Garcia, Marli Rajacich, Geovanna Pereira, Kayla Ross, Lexi Schaffer, Julianna Stureman, Roni Schaffer, and Sophia Woodland will join the defending Patriot League champions for BU's 25th season competing at the varsity level.
 
"We are thrilled that this group of student-athletes are joining BU Women's Soccer.," exclaimed Feldman. "Each bring a passion to compete and recognize the great opportunity that Boston University will provide them to realize their full potential in the classroom, and as athletes in our program." 
 
Gretchen Bennett
5-9 | Goalkeeper | Paul VI Catholic | Chantilly, Va.
 Four-year letterwinner and team captain as a senior at Paul VI Catholic … Holds the school career records in saves (389), wins (36), shutouts (25), and holds the single-season record in saves (142) … Played club for FC Virginia.


 
Ashley Buck
5-9 | Defense |Peak to Peak Charter School | Lafayette, Colo.
 Two-time team captain for Real Colorado ... Two-year starter for Peak to Peak High School … Named to TopDrawerSoccer Girls 2019 Academy Top 150 … Guided Real Colorado's U16/17 Development Academy team to the 2018 National Championship … TopDrawerSoccer Girls Development Academy Playoffs U16/U17 Best XI … First team all-state and all-league as a sophomore at Peak to Peak … Recorded 24 goals and 11 assists over two seasons.


 
Caitlyn DiSarcina
5-8 | Forward | Groton School | Shirley, Mass.
 Played a season at Butler … 2017 All-Big East Second Team and All-Freshman Team … Scored eight goals and added one assist … Four-year starter for the Groton School ... Two-time all-state and all-league … Guided the Groton School to the Class B New England Prep School Athletic Conference in 2014... Totaled 51 goals and 24 assists … Played club for the FC Stars.
 
Madie Garcia
5-7 | Midfield | Hamilton | Gilbert, Ariz.
 Played club for SC Del Sol, which is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation … Club captain … Guided SC Del Sol to the ECNL Championship as a sophomore … Helped Hamilton reach the state final as a freshman.
 

 
Marli Rajacich

Four-year letterwinner and team captain as a senior at Washburn … Four-time all-conference … Three-time all-state … All-Metro as a senior … Played club for Minnesota Thunder Academy.
 


Geovanna Pereira
5-5 | Midfield/Defense | Chaminade College Preparatory | Woodland Hills, Calif.
 Played club for Real So Cal … Two-time scholar-athlete at Harvard-Westlake School … Rookie of the Year and Outstanding Female Athlete as a freshman.
 


Kayla Ross
5-10 | Defense | Pace Academy | Atlanta, Ga.
 Four-year letterwinner and team captain as a senior at Pace Academy … Captain of Tophat SC 00/01 ECNL … Two-time Pace Academy MVP and Defensive Player of the Year … Also was a four-year letterwinner in basketball.
