
Siozios Named Patriot League Player of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After claiming four singles victories and helping the Boston University men's tennis team open the season at 4-0, freshman Pete Siozios has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week.
The New Hyde Park, New York, native went 2-0 at line 3 in singles action with straight-set wins against Southern New Hampshire (6-2, 6-2) and St. Francis Brooklyn (7-5, 6-0). He also posted victories in the No. 5 slot against Fairfield (4-6, 6-2, 10-6) and Siena (8-6).
He also posted a 2-1 record in doubles with wins against SNHU (6-3) and Siena (6-4) alongside sophomores Marc Sable and Fabian Soemarno, respectively.
The Terriers will hit the road for the first time on Saturday (Feb. 10) when they visit Quinnipiac at 6 p.m.
