Five Terriers Earn Spot on Patriot League Men's Tennis Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Coming off a Patriot League semifinal appearance, five members of the Boston University men's tennis team earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Both sophomore J.P. Avila (Holland, Mich.) and freshman David Bogatin (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the Terriers with a 3.78 GPA while majoring in business administration and management. Avila was recognized for the second time alongside classmate Marc Sable (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), a third business administration major on the team.
The Terriers also had two other freshmen earn a spot on the honor roll. Currently undecided, both Owen Lu (Guangzhou, China) and Pedro Gutierrez (Guatemala City, Guatemala) finished with GPA of 3.64 and 3.26, respectively.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
