BOSTON – The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams continued their 2018-19 indoor season on Saturday, hosting the Multi-Team Meet at the Track and Tennis Center against UMass Lowell, Sacred Heart, Harvard and Boston College.
The Terriers had several impressive performances on the day. On the women's side, senior Ebony Brown finished first in the 200m dash with a time of 25:09 in a field of 21. For the men, sophomore Nikolas Smith finished first in the 60m dash with a time of 6.98 and third in the 200m dash with a time of 21.72, a new personal best.

Notable Performances Men
- Sophomore Nikolas Smith had an excellent performance in the 200m dash, finishing third with a time of 21.72, a new personal best and fourth fastest in the Patriot League this year. He also finished first in the 60m dash with a time of 6.98.
- Chiebuka Onwuzurike finished second in the 60m dash with a time of 6.99.
- Junior Paul Luevano competed in the 3000m run and finished third with a time of 8:33.27
- Senior Zachary Prescott competed in the 5000m run and finished fifth with a time of 15:30.00.
- In the field, sophomore Douglas Young finished fourth in the pole vault competition with a vault of 4.20m (13'9.25").
- Senior Ebony Brown had an excellent performance in the 200m dash, finishing first with a time of 25:09 in a field of 21. Senior Jordan Coverson finished second in the same event with a time of 25.39, just missing her personal best (25.34) while sophomore Mikajah Hayes was third (27.73).
- Freshman Alicia Thomas made her debut in the 300m dash and finished a strong fifth with a time of 40.35.
- Senor Casey Kelley finished second in the 500m run with a time of 1:21.45.
- In the field, senior Kennedy Jones finished first in the triple jump with a leap of 11.84m (38'10.25") while senior Lovie Burleson finished second (11.67m, 38'3.5").
- Senior Sarah Cicchetti continued her impressive season in the weight throw, finishing second with a throw of 16.92m, 55'6.25").
