BOSTON – Competing in its final home game of the regular season, the Boston University men's soccer team will host defending Patriot League regular season champion Loyola Maryland on Saturday with action slated to begin at 1 p.m.

The Senior Day ceremony honoring Mana Chavali, Satchel Cortet, Schuyler Fuchsman, Elias Lampis, Matt McDonnell and Jasper Verplancke will take place after the matchup in Eilberg Lounge at the top of the Case Center.

The contest carries major Patriot League tournament implications for both squads. With two games left, the Terriers are tied for fifth with Bucknell at nine points, two ahead of Colgate and American with next Wednesday's opponent Army West Point at six points. The Greyhounds have clinched a spot for the six-team tournament but are currently second at 15 points, two behind Lehigh and two ahead of both Navy and Lafayette.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU has won its last three home games, including overtime victories over then-No. 22 Navy (1-0) and Colgate (2-1) with a 2-0 win against Harvard.
  • Cortet netted both golden goals to become the second Terrier to earn multiple goals this season behind the leader McDonnell (7g) and move into a tie for second on the team in points alongside sophomore Kari Petursson (1g,2a) and freshman Marc Roura (1g,2a).
