Pina Earns Patriot League Rookie of the Week Honors

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Following leading all freshmen in scoring in a pair of games this past week, Maggie Pina of the Boston University women's basketball team has been named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Pina made her first career start against UMass count, as she tied for the team-lead with 12 points. The West Chester, Pennsylvania native followed with nine points against cross-town rival Boston College. For the week, Pina also added five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
BU will be back on the hardwood at Case Gym on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. versus Dartmouth.
