Pina Repeats as Patriot League Rookie of The Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - For the second time in as many weeks, Maggie Pina of the Boston University women's basketball team has earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.
Pina was on fire on Saturday in BU's 74-56 victory over Dartmouth, setting a season high with 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including posting a 6-of-8 clip from 3-point range. Her 75.0 shooting percentage from beyond-the-arc is the second-best 3-point shooting percentage by a Patriot League student-athlete this season. The freshman stormed out of the gates with 15 points in the first half to guide to the Terriers to their first home win of the season.
BU will host Northeastern on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. for its non-conference finale.
