
Terrier Tuesdays: Women's Basketball Chantell Alford ('13)

Former Boston University women's basketball standout Chantell Alford ('13) was the guest in this week's alumni edition of Terrier Tuesdays.
Alford's name is abundant in the women's basketball record book, as she ranks third all-time in career history with 1,802 career points, while her average of 14.7 points per game ranks fourth. The product of West Haven, Connecticut became the first player in America East history to earn three Player of the Year honors and was named to the America East All-Conference First Team in each of her four seasons as a Terrier.
Additionally, Alford ranks second in career 3-pointers (244) and her 81 treys as a senior were the second-most in a single season. The 2010 America East Rookie of the Year has enjoyed a professional career in Europe since graduating from BU's Metropolitan College in 2013.
