BOSTON – Third-year women’s basketball head coach Marisa Moseley will welcome four Terriers to the lineup next season in Lauren Davenport, Alex Giannaros, Alexa Therien and Corinne Washington.
Davenport and Giannaros will bolster the backcourt, Washington can duel as a guard or forward, and Therien is a force in the paint. The quartet hails from four different states and will comprise the class of 2025.
"I am thrilled to introduce the Boston University women's basketball class of 2025," exclaimed Moseley. “These four young women have the potential to become the cornerstone of our program for years to come. Their unique combination of skill, versatility, and drive are excellent compliments to our winning culture. Her court vision and passing skills, in addition to her accuracy from deep range, will add another weapon to our offensive arsenal. Lauren’s in perpetual motion when she is on the court, and her teammates feed off of her energy. Her knack for making difficult shots and big plays are exactly why she is the perfect fit. She has an easy stroke from behind-the-arc, but can also use her strength to get to the rim, where she loves to create contact.
