Men's Tennis Falls at Dartmouth, 6-1

HANOVER, N.H. - Concluding a four-match road trip, the Boston University men's tennis team fell at Dartmouth, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon.
Already owning wins against LSU, Alabama, Rice and Navy, the Big Green remained perfect at 5-0, while the Terriers dropped to 2-2.

- The Big Green won the top two doubles matches by a combined score of 12-3 for the 1-0 advantage.
- Dartmouth claimed all five singles points in straight sets.
- Junior Pedro Gutierrez won the most games in a tightly-contested 6-4, 6-4 loss at line 3.
- Junior Owen Lu was facing a 7-5, 2-1 deficit when his opponent retired in the No. 2 slot to put BU on the scoreboard.
- BU will have two weeks to recharge before hosting St. John's in the home opener at Mount St. Auburn's on Saturday, Feb. 15.
- Doubles action will begin at 4 p.m.
