
Harper Signs Entry-Level Contract with Nashville Predators

Harper, a Hockey East Third Team All-Star this season, finished the year ranked 15th in the nation in points per game (1.16), totaling 37 points on 14 goals and 23 assists in 32 contests. The 37 points ranked second on the team and matched a career high from his freshman season. He became the 84th player in program history to reach the 100-point mark, finishing his career with 115 points (41g, 74a) in 128 games.
An assistant captain this year as a senior, Harper started the season by recording at least one point in his first eight games, including six multi-point effort. He added six more multi-point games to finish with 32 in his career. Harper was an efficient goal-scorer this season with his 14 goals coming on just 67 shots, resulting in a .209 shooting percentage.
Harper was selected by the Predators in the fifth round (138th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft. He was one of six Terriers on the gold-medal winning U.S. squad at the 2017 World Junior Championship and earned a bronze medal the following year as a sophomore.
