Ten Terriers Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

CENTRE VALLEY, Pa. - For the second straight year, 10 members of the Boston University women's basketball team were named to the 2020 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday.
The 10 student-athletes match the program record for the most a Terrier team has landed on the honor roll since joining the Patriot League in 2013.
Ashley Sieper, an economics & mathematics major, led the team with a 4.0 GPA and was one of 19 student-athletes in the league to achieve a perfect semester GPA. Patriot League Rookie of the Year Maggie Pina was also stellar in the classroom as she charted a 3.94 GPA in the spring semester as a political science major.
Lehigh led the Patriot League with 15 honorees for the second straight year, followed by Colgate with 14 student-athletes. Lafayette and Loyola Maryland had 13 honorees each, while Bucknell had 12, and Army West Point, Holy Cross and Navy all added nine representatives from each institution.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
