Men's Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team; Five Terriers Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors

BOSTON – The Boston University men's tennis team has been recognized as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team with five student-athletes also receiving ITA Scholar-Athlete status.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must have at least a 3.50 for the academic year.

The Terriers finished with a 3.00+ GPA for the sixth straight year and ended with a 3.31 GPA. Recent graduate Marc Sable was honored as an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the second time alongside rising seniors David Bogatin and Owen Lu. Junior Max Hartenstein and sophomore Kirill Belov both earned their first honor.

All five men were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll back in June with senior Pedro Gutierrez, senior Ethan Kolsky and sophomore Jon-Kyle Tan.
