Terrier Tuesdays: Women's Soccer Alum Stephanie Dreyer ('06)
September 15, 2020 | Women's Soccer
Three-time America East champion and former Boston University women's soccer goalkeeper Stephanie Dreyer (COM'07) was the guest in this week's alumni edition of Terrier Tuesdays.
A native of New Rochelle, New York, Dreyer had a banner senior campaign with the Terriers. The NSCAA All-Region honoree posted 12 shutouts in 2006 to break an 11-year old record originally set by Kara Lange in 1995, and her career 0.626 GAA was good for second in the school annals. She finished 12th in the nation in goals-against-average (0.514) and 29th in save percentage (0.851). She was just as successful off the field, as she was honored with BU's prestigious Scarlet Key award.
Dreyer currently serves as vice president for digital strategy and customer experience at the American Bankers Association after previously working as deputy press secretary for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer and communications director of the Truman National Security Project. She also currently heads women's soccer's Alumni Council.
