Arlotti Earns All-Patriot League Honors

BOSTON – After anchoring a backline that limited opponents to just two goals in the last 360 minutes played at Nickerson Field, Boston University men's soccer senior Gianluca Arlotti has earned All-Patriot League Second Team honors, the conference announced Friday afternoon.

The Monaco native led the Terriers with a season-high 1,338 minutes played and started in 14 of his 15 appearances. He helped the Terriers finish the season 3-1-2 with shutouts against Bucknell and Colgate along with a pair of 3-1 victories against in-state rivals Northeastern and Holy Cross.

Arlotti was the first BU defender to earn All-Conference honors since Josh Barkoff was placed on the second team in 2018. Arlotti also added an assist to help BU rally from a two-goal deficit and force overtime at St. John's.
