BOSTON – Riding a five-game win streak with a No. 21 ranking in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll, the Boston University men's basketball team will conclude 2021 by hosting Marist on Saturday with tip-off slated for 5 p.m.
The Terriers have focused on finals this week following last Saturday's 65-62 nail-biting win at Dartmouth, while the Red Foxes are looking to bounce back from Sunday's 67-61 home defeat to Navy.

- BU is in the CollegeInsider.com rankings for the first time since 2013-14 with the help of its longest non-conference win streak since 2003-04.
- BU is currently 4-0 at The Roof and needs one more win for its best home start since the Terriers went a perfect 10-0 in 1996-97.
- Graduate student Javante McCoy leads BU at 17.2 ppg and 52.0 3FG%, while classmate Sukhmail Mathon owns a personal-best 13.0 ppg with 9.1 rpg.
- The Terriers will be without the services of junior Nevin Zink (6.2 ppg) for the rest of the season due to an injury suffered at the Jacksonville Classic. Senior Walter Whyte (13.8 ppg, 6.4 rpg) has missed the last seven games due to injury.

- 6-foot-4 guard Ricardo Wright is one of four averaging double figures at 14.9 ppg with 4.2 rpg, while 6-foot-3 guard Matt Herasme averages an identical 5.2 rpg and 5.2 ppg.
- Marist is averaging 70.0 ppg and 43.9 FG% while holding opponents to 69.6 ppg and 42.6 FG%.
- The Terriers are 4-1 all-time in a series dating back to 1980 after winning the home-and-away series in 2009-10.
- BU first claimed an 88-72 win at Marist in 2009 and then rolled to a 58-37 home victory the following season.
- The Terriers will remain home and open Patriot League play on Saturday, Jan. 1, at Bucknell with a 1 p.m. start time.
