BOSTON - The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams will be back in action this weeking, hosting the Patriot League Track & Field Challenge vs. Holy Cross on Sunday.
The women's competition will begin with field events starting at 12pm and conclude with the 4x400m relay at 3pm. The men's competition is slated to begin at 5pm and conclude at 8pm.
"All I can say is it's good to be back!" said BU director of track & field and cross country Gabe Sanders. "The student-athletes have all been incredible in how they've handled the world over the past year, and I'm just happy that we've been granted this opportunity to don the scarlet and white uniform this weekend and be back in the competitive arena. I'm especially grateful that so many of our seniors will have a final opportunity to compete on their home track one more time. They've done a wonderful job leading our team in the trenches through these challenging times and they've continued to set the cultural tone for our program for years to come. This will be a great send off for them and an even better spring board heading into the outdoor season."
