
Men’s and Women’s Track & Field to Compete at Army on Friday

The Boston University men's and women's track and field teams will compete at Army West Point on Friday. Field events begin at 2pm while running events will begin at 3pm.
The meet will be the final competition for the Terriers before they return to West Point, N.Y. to compete in the Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championship beginning April 30.

LAST TIME OUT
At UMass Amherst – For the men, freshman Kasim Cisse cleared 2.05m (6' 8.75") in the high jump, to set a new personal best and senior Haig Rickerby finished first in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 1:54.62.
For the women, freshman Jules Hogan had a great debut, winning the 200m dash with a time of 25.77 while senior Cecelia Gerstenbacher got her outdoor season off on the right foot, winning the 200m dash with a time of 12:32. In the field, Lauren Sikoski finished first in the pole vault with a 3.28m (10'9') vault, an outdoor personal best.
Providence Ocean State Invite – On the women's side, Andrea Claeson finished took sixth in the 5000m run with a time of 17:02.1 while Corinne Batsu finished eighth (17:05.19). On the men's side, Foster Malleck competed in the 800m and finished eighth with a time of 1:54.76 while Matthew Mason took sixth in the 5000m run with a time of 14:37.34.
