Terriers to Compete at Providence & UMass Friday & Saturday

The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams will continue their outdoor season this weekend, competing at two meets hosted by UMass Amherst and Providence College.
Both the men's and women's teams will send a select group of distance runners to the Ocean State Invite hosted by Providence College on Friday while the rest of the team will head to Amherst for a two-day meet with the women's team competing Friday and the men on Saturday.

A select group of men's and women's distance runners will travel to the Ocean State Invite hosted by Providence College on Friday. On the women's side, Andrea Claeson is scheduled to compete in the 1 mile run while Claeson, Corinne Batsu, Veronica Kriss and Angela Castronuovo are all scheduled to compete in the 5000 meters.
For the men, Foster Malleck and Marcel Aubry will both compete in the 1 mile run, while Brett Davidson and Mike Hagen will compete in the 5000m.
All the action kicks off at 5:00 pm with the men's 400m hurdles and concludes with the women's 3000m steeplechase at 8:55 pm.

A large contingent of the women's track & field will head to UMass Amherst to take on UMass, Quinnipiac and Boston College on Friday. Over 30 student-athletes will make the trip for the team's first full outing of the year. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 am with the long jump and conclude with the 4x400m relay at 1:50 pm.
The men's action from Amherst will be on Saturday with a full schedule of events beginning with the long jump at 11am and concluding with the 4x400m relay at 1:35 pm.

After this weekend the Terriers will compete at Army West point on Friday, April 16.
