Terriers to Compete at IC4A/ECAC Championships on Saturday

BOSTON - The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams will continue their outdoor season by competing at the IC4A/ECAC Championships in Springfield, Mass. on Saturday

This weekend will be the last opportunity for student-athletes to qualify for the NCAA Regionals with the top 48 performances in each event throughout the season qualifying. Student-athletes who qualify will continue their season at the NCAA East Regionals which take place in Jacksonville, Fla. on May 26-28.

On the women's side, Andrea Claeson, Madeline Bachmann and Meghan Convery will compete in the 1500m starting at 12:15pm.

For the men, Foster Malleck and Marcel Aubry will compete in the 1500m at 11:45am while Mike Hagen will go in the 5000m beginning at 5:50pm.

In the field, Kasim Cisse will compete in the high jump which is scheduled to start at 3:30pm. Cisse currently is the Terriers' best shot at qualifying for the NCAA Regionals. He currently has the 45th best high jump in the East with a 2.08m (6' 9.75") which he set last month at the PL Championships. Cisse will attempt to solidify his shot at NCAA Regionals by bettering that mark on Saturday.
