HOW IT HAPPENED
- Harvard struck first in the 34th minute when Taylor Fasnacht put a ball into the center of the box that Josephine Hasbo was able to strike first time and place in the back of the net.
- BU earned its first corner in the 40th minute but was unable to capitalize as junior Ashley Buck's header went wide.
- The Terriers pressured Harvard over the latter part of the first half but were unable to equalize.
- Senior Jenna Oldham had a great chance to tie the game just minutes into the second stanza but her free kick whistled inches past the outside of the left post.
- Immediately after that free kick, Harvard pushed the ball forward and eventually scored from right in front of the cage to make it 2-0.
- The Crimson added a third goal in the 54th minute to close the scoring.
- Bennett matched her career high with three saves; she also stopped three shots at Boston College on Aug. 26.
- Sophomore Lily Matthews led the Terriers with two shot attempts and produced her team's lone shot on target.
- BU will begin a stretch of two straight games in Rhode Island when the Terriers travel to URI on Sunday, Sept. 5.
- Game time for the ESPN+ broadcast is set for 2 p.m.
