
Men's Rowing Wraps Up The Head Of The Charles Regatta

BOSTON – The Boston University men's rowing program completed its races at the 57th Head of the Charles Regatta, as the Terriers' championship crews posted top-20 finishes on Sunday (Oct. 23).
The Championship Four crew, coxed by senior Philip Melki and stroked by sophomore Baringer Lovaas, clocked in at 15:59.569 to place ninth out of 15 finished crews.
The Championship Eight boat, coxed by junior Peter Adams and stroked by freshman Grant Gwadz, finished 18th out of 25 crews in a time of 14:06.787.
BU had one alumni boat race on the afternoon, pairing up with select men's rowing graduates in the Director's Challenge Mixed Eight. The Terrier contingent was 13th with an official time of 17:12.105.
BU wraps up its fall campaign with the Foot of the Charles, which is scheduled for Saturday (Nov. 12).
