BOSTON – Winner of five of the last six games, the Boston University men's basketball team will host Army West Point on Wednesday night with a 7 p.m. start time.
The Terriers are coming off their first sweep of the season following an 80-74 win at Lehigh, while the Black Knights are looking to bounce back from a 69-65 home loss to Holy Cross.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU has three Terriers averaging double figures on the season with 10 total having scored in double figures.
- Graduate student Javante McCoy is averaging a team-high 16.4 ppg and 2.8 apg while shooting 45.9 percent from behind the arc.
- Classmate Sukhmail Mathon has been clutch at the free throw line, shooting 80 percent, to average 15.2 ppg while adding 10.2 rpg. In league play, those averages increase to 17.7 ppg and 11.1 rpg, respectively.
- Senior Walter Whyte tied Mathon with a team-high 16 points at Lehigh to increase his season average to 12.9 ppg.
- The Terriers are 3-3 at home in conference play but have won two of the last three against Colgate (76-72) and Lehigh (80-74). They also avenged an earlier 66-58 loss to Loyola with 67-50 road victory.
- Overall, BU is averaging 70.1 and 44.4 FG% while holding teams to 66.0 and 45.0 FG%.
- The Black Knights are 4-9 on the road compared to their 9-2 home record, collecting wins at NJIT (66-49), Navy (74-73 OT), Bucknell (96-89) and Hartford (86-79).

- 5-foot-10 guard Jalen Rucker leads Army at 15.9 ppg while averaging 7.1 3-point attempts. 6-foot-2 guard Josh Caldwell is second at 11.9 ppg and has combined with Rucker for 8.9 rpg.
- 6-foot-9 forward Charlie Peterson leads Army at 6.2 rpg while averaging 7.5 ppg.
- The Black Knights are averaging 70.3 ppg and 43.7 FG% while holding opponents to 69.3 ppg and 43.8 FG%.
- The Terriers are 20-15 all-time in the series that dates back to 1954.
- Army won the first meeting this season at Christl Arena, 73-63, with four Black Knights scoring in double figures. McCoy led all players with 23 points, while Mathon had 11 rebounds.
- BU and Army were placed in the same division last season to help limit travel. Both teams hosted two-game weekend series with the Black Knights winning both games at Case Gym, 76-65 and 79-59.
- BU will honor six Terriers as part of Senior Day on Saturday (Feb. 12) before the 1 p.m. tip against American.
