Men's Tennis Ends Regular Season with 4-0 Loss at Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Concluding the regular season, the Boston University men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at Lehigh Sunday afternoon.

The Mountain Hawks (11-6, 6-1 PL) won a tiebreaker in the last doubles match to capture the first point and then added three singles points to defeat the Terriers (3-17, 2-4 PL).

Freshman Adrian Pawlowski and sophomore Johann Sajonz started the competition with a 6-2 victory in the top doubles slot. Lehigh though earned a 6-3 win at line 2 and then edged sophomore Ben Letzer and freshman Gabe Brown, 7-6(5) for the 1-0 advantage.

Brown (#3) and Pawlowski (#4) led BU with the most games won at seven apiece. Freshman Dion Loutas had just dropped his first set, 7-5, when his match was halted.

The Terriers will next head to Navy for the Patriot League tournament on April 29-May 1. The bracket will be unveiled earlier in the week.
