BOSTON – The Boston University men's basketball team will start off the new year by visiting Bucknell on Monday with tip-off slated for 2 p.m.
Both squads are looking to bounce back from Friday's Patriot League opening losses, as BU dropped a 75-58 decision to Navy and the Bison fell at Holy Cross, 60-58.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is one of the top teams in terms of taking care of the ball, ranking 25th nationally in turnovers at just 10.9 per game. The Terriers also rank 84th in bench points (24.7 ppg).
- Graduate student Walter Whyte is the lone Terrier averaging in double figures at 14.6 ppg while adding a team-high 5.9 rpg.
- Senior Ethan Brittain-Watts (9.8 ppg) has averaged 14.0 ppg over the last six games by shooting 58.6 percent from behind the arc during that stretch.
- Graduate student Fletcher Tynen (7.2 ppg) reached double figures for the fourth time this season with 10 points against Navy and is 5-of-7 in 3-point territory over the last three games.

- Bucknell ranks 35th nationally in 3-point field goal percentage (.378), 43rd in defensive rebounds (27.9 rpg), 53rd in FG% (.476) and 57th in defensive field goal percentage (.400).
- Bucknell leads the all-time series, 14-9, but the Terriers are 5-2 over the last seven meetings.
- The Terriers pulled out a 63-61 home win on Jan. 1 last year before the Bison ended the regular season with an 89-78 home victory.
- Bucknell posted a 26-11 advantage in made free throws to defeat BU.
- BU will return home to host Lafayette on Thursday (Jan. 5) with a 7 p.m. start.
